match the fireworks

Match the fireworks to their colorful explosions and pretend you have to help save the Fourth of July (from darkness).

We originally thought of this match the fireworks printable for the 4th of July and the book The Night Before the Fourth of July, written by Natasha Wing and illustrated by Amy Wummer; but this firework matching worksheet can be used anytime you’d like to practice matching and hand-eye coordination.

This matching worksheet also doubles as a maze for preschoolers. We hope you enjoy match the fireworks activity as much as we do!
