Snowflakes are a fun and easy holiday activity for kids to make! Plus, you really can’t go wrong. Each snowflake is different and unique. This snowflake pattern will help you get started. Take a regular sized 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper and start by folding it to make a triangle, then cut the excess so that your child is working with a sheet of paper that resembles a square. From there, follow the pictures to fold and re-fold the paper, ultimately helping your child cut holes into paper to make his or her own paper snowflakes. Use painter’s tape or washi tape to safely secure the snowflakes to the inside of a window for a snowy, festive, look. This DIY snowflake template was originally created to go with the book Santa in a Snow Globe but can be used anytime you’re looking for an easy snowflake pattern for preschoolers.
