Telling Time Printable

Here’s a telling time printable that will help little kids answer the question: What time is it? The big hand is on the 12… now look for the small hand, which will tell you what hour it is. Draw a line from the clock on the left to the correct time on the right. This preschool worksheet was originally created to go with the book Hungry Bunny, to talk more in depth about time. In the book, the bunny was in a hurry to get home. Use this time practice worksheet anytime you’d like. After you’ve matched the clock and time, talk about the difference between am and pm (explain that ante meridiem or am means before midday and post meridiem or pm means after midday), and relate it to your child’s daily routine. What do you do in the am? What do you do in the pm? Also talk about direction — clockwise versus counterclockwise.
