Here is a free body boundaries worksheet to help children better familiarize themselves in a visual way with personal boundaries, specifically their very own body boundary.
This body boundary printable for kids was inspired by the book, Let’s Talk About Boundaries, Consent and Respect, written by Jayneen Sanders and illustrated by Sarah Jennings. The book has a body boundaries activity where a child is encouraged to draw an imaginary boundary line around their body. The language used in the book is : “Your body belongs to YOU, and you are the boss of it.” We loved this! So, we used our fingers to trace lots of imaginary lines and talk about boundaries. After, we grabbed some old photos, cut pictures of Rosie, and asked her to use a pencil or crayon to draw a boundary around her picture. She liked the idea of creating a real boundary that she could see, especially around her very own picture!
As a result, we created this boundary pdf for kids to have a similar experience in setting their own boundary.
We hope you enjoy this body boundaries worksheet and that your kiddos find it as useful as we did!
