Print this free page of measurement activities for preschoolers, then cut out the ruler to use to measure each ice cream come. This prek worksheet was first made to go with the book Jabari Jumps written and illustrated by Gaia Cornwall. The book is FANTASTIC and I love it. It’s about a boy named Jabari who overcomes his fear and jumps off the diving board and into a swimming pool. You can read my full review here. It’s likely to make you feel hot and all things summer-y, hence this fun measuring activity for kids.

This measurement worksheet can be used to teach measurements in inches. It’s also a great way to introduce how to use a ruler to draw a line. If you live somewhere where you don’t use inches to measure things then just use the ruler to see how many units there are — even if it’s not the proper scale for you.
