trace letters ocean theme

This trace the letters ocean theme is the perfect end of summer tracing activity!

We originally thought of this tracing words pdf to go with the book Bunny Overboard written and illustrated by Claudia Rueda; but it can be used anytime you’d like to practice tracing letters and writing words, particularly if you’re looking for an ocean theme or an under the sea activity.

While there are more words on this printable that are actually part of this specific book, we thought it would be a good way to review letters popularly used with summertime things. You can use this tracing handout as a way to set the mood for summer, in advance of a summer vacation, or as an activity to do as a summer send off.

This free tracing activity encourages children to trace the letters f, i, s, and h to write the word fish. It also includes the letters to form the words: shark, crab and shell.

Want to create your OWN words for your child to trace? Or, draft a postcard for kids to mail to friends while away? Here’s a free handwriting worksheet generator that lets you create the words you most want your child to trace.

We hope this trace the letters ocean theme gets your kids excited to learn to write new words and imagine new underwater adventures!
