This easy craft for preschoolers pairs well with the book Hungry Bunny and Bunny Overboard! And while it’s especially fun come Easter, or when studying bunnies or farm animals at home or school, it’s a great letter craft for kids at anytime!

To make this easy letter B craft you will need:

  • One sheet of colored construction paper (8.5″ by 11″); you can also use plain paper or draw your own background for an extra personal touch!
  • A sheet of white paper
  • Pink construction paper for the inner ears (or a pink crayon or colored pencil)
  • Red marker (or pen, or colored pencil)
  • Back marker (or pen, or colored pencil)
  • Cotton balls
  • Googly eyes (optional); a black pen or black and white paper will do too!
  • Glue (and your adult)
  • Scissors (and your adult)
  • Ruler (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIY PIANO CRAFT / LETTER P CRAFT:

  1. Draw a capital letter B on your full-sized construction paper.
  2. Glue cotton balls above where you traced the letter B. On the lower bump add an extra cotton ball to act as the bunny’s tail.
  3. On the plain sheet of white paper draw two ears.
  4. On the pink sheet of paper draw two smaller inner ears.
  5. Glue the pink ear part inside the white ear part for each cut out, then glue to the top of your B near where you envision the ears would go.
  6. Add the google eyes (or draw them in).
  7. Draw a red upside down triangle slightly lower than the eyes (in the middle area of both eyes) to serve as the nose with a curved line outward on each side, to serve as the mouth.
  8. Use your black pen or marker to draw three whiskers to each side of the mouth.
